Pinkneys Green is a pleasant and popular suburb of Maidenhead, Berkshire, largely made up of residential properties and about two miles north-west of the town centre. Pinkneys Green is approximately a 35-minute walk from Maidenhead town centre, and whichever property you go for, you can rely on safe cycle routes from and to town. By car there is convenient access to the M4 and the M40, offering links to Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, in particular Marlow, High Wycombe and Henley on Thames. Pinkneys Green is ideal for commuters looking to buy or rent just outside of the hustle and bustle. The nearest railway stations to Pinkneys Green are Furze Platt Halt and Maidenhead, with an excellent service to London Paddington (approx 25 minutes) and other areas in East and West Berkshire.
Schools
Pinkneys Green is served by Alwyn County Infants School, Courthouse Junior School and Furze Platt Senior School. For those buying or renting a family home, all three schools in the area have excellent Ofsted and school performance tables reports. In the Maidenhead area children go to senior school at 11 years old and all five of the state senior schools in the town are comprehensive. One is a boys-only and one a girls-only school, and there are also several independent schools.
